How to add Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps (CASB) as a connector


InsAIght allows you to integrate with various services to automate your AI management and compliance. One of these is Microsoft CASB. In this article, we will show you how to add Microsoft CASB as a connector in InsAIght, and how to view your discovered AI systems.


Adding the connector


  1. Navigate to 'Operations' -> 'Integrations' and click on 'Add Connector'

  1. Select Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps.
  2. Fill in the Client ID, Tenant ID, API Endpoint URL and Client Secret.
  3. Finally, click on 'Create'.



🎉 You have now successfully added the connector!


Discovering AI applications

  1. Back on the** 'Integrations' **page, click on the desired Microsoft CASB connector.

  1. Scroll down and go to 'Discover Applications'
  2. Click on 'Execute Discover Applications'

  1. You can now import select applications, or all of them, to InsAIght!

🎉 You have now successfully discovered and imported AI applications from Microsoft CASB!
