# How to add an Asset


Assets are the core of your organization. In insAIght, all managed AI systems are added as assets. There are five types of assets in insAIght:
* AI Model
* AI Application
* Dataset
* Algorithm
* Infrastructure.

In this article, we will show you to how to add assets to insAIght. The following video shows the steps which are described below:

1. Navigate to **'Assets'** and click on **'Add Assets'**
2. To add the assed manually, fill in the asset **name**, **description**,** type, and owner, **. It is also possible to add an asset from the AI Catalog or via an integration.
3. If you would like, select labels, mark the asset as critical, and select an organizational unit to which the asset belongs.

4. Finally, click on **'Create'**. You have now successfully added an Asset!
