# Adding Objectives and Related Tasks

Using company objectives can be a great way to accelerate your company to the next level. Here we will show you how to add objectives and add related tasks to your objectives.

## Adding Objectives

1. Go to '**Strategic**' -> '**Objectives**' and click on '**Add**

2. Fill in Objective Reference, Name, Description, Start and End Date, Owner, and optionally Business Unit and Department

3. Click on '**Add**'

You have now successfully added a company objective! ✅

Back at the '**Objectives**' page you can see an overview of all of your objectives.

## Adding Related Tasks

Tasks are very relevant to achieving your objectives. You can add related tasks to an objective like this:

1. Click on an Objective in the '**Objectives**' page

2. Go to '**Related Tasks**' and click on '**Add'**

3. Fill in Name, Description, Start and Due Date, Owner, Business Unit, Department, and Status

4. Click on '**Add**'

You have now successfully added a related task to an objective! ✅
