# Adding Assets

         "Assets are your organization’s core. Here you will learn how to add them and how to classify them.To add assets, it's essential to have asset classifications in place. If you haven't done that yet, check out **Adding Asset Classifications, Maturity Levels, and Risk Management Criteria**."

## Adding Assets

After assigning asset classifications, you can start adding Assets.

1. Go to **'Operational' -> 'Assets'** and click on **'Add'**

2. Fill in **Reference**, **Name**, and **Description**

3. Assign an **Owner**
*(Don’t see any owners? Check **Adding Staff**)*

4. Assign **Confidentiality**, **Integrity**, and **Availability**

1. Click on **'Add'**

🎉 You have now successfully added an Asset!

## Displaying Assets

Back at the **'Assets'** page, you can view all of your assets.
